Wellness Educator A Wellness Educator is trained to examine a client’s health history and to explore in depth their goals related to health and wellness. A Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach has studied hundreds of dietary theories, and is educated in understanding the psychological and emotional relationship we have with food and our food choices. Integrative Health Coaches are considered wellness authorities, and are trained to educate and support clients in reaching their best health.
Dawn’s Wellness Services As a Wellness Educator, a Lifestyle Medicine Provider, and Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Dawn works with clients on the prevention of chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimer's. Dawn helps clients improve their nutrition and dietary choices and assists them in developing and maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. She believes one must look at the whole person, and not just diet, to find sustaining health, wellness, and a thriving lifestyle. Individual - private one-on-one sessions individualized and tailored to meet your specific goals and needs.
Group Sessions - these groups offer a different subject to explore per session. They are a wonderful support system and discuss topics such as cancer, diabetes, stress, emotional eating, sleep disturbances, hormone imbalances etc.
Kitchen Rehab - a private visit to your very own kitchen where we go through cupboards, pantries, and refrigerators discussing healthy and not so healthy food choices.
Grocery Store Field Trips- we take a walk through your local grocery store and discuss healthy food choices, things to avoid and why. These trips are held either privately one-on-one, or in small group sessions.
Corporate Wellness - educate and motivate corporate employees into health and wellness action, including one-on-one consults, group chats, nutrition and healthy food choices, exercise, and stress/life/work balance (for further info please contact my office).
