Super Green Smoothie

As most of you know, I simply LOVE my green smoothies. I drink at least 1-2 per day. I don’t
like juice – wish I did but I have tried literally all kinds, and I just do not like the taste. Funny because I love, love, love all fruits and vegetables. So instead I opt for smoothies. Lately I have been drinking this one everyday. The combination of ingredients really makes it creamy, thick, and soooo not tasting like veggies or dirt…ha ha! It truly is like a healthy milkshake. Let me know what you think…

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2tsp chia seeds
  • 1/2tsp flax seeds
  • 1Tb psyllium husks
  • 1Tb vegan vanilla protein powder
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2tsp chlorella powder
  • 1tsp maca powder
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 2C spinach, kale, chard or any green of your choice
  • 1C alternative milk (i.e. almond, flax, cashew etc.)
Mix all ingredients together and blend baby blend. That’s it! Feel free to mix up the seeds, and if you don’t have chlorella or maca powder, no worries, just leave it out and ENJOY! xx
