These energy bites are awesome when you are craving a little pick me up but do not want all of the added sugar. They are naturally sweetened with an added boost of protein. Perfect to refuel after a healthy workout. Click on the "Read More" button for a list of ingredients and recipe!
Put all ingredients in a strong food processor. I like to use Vitamix. Blend until desired texture - either chunky or more blended. Spoon out 1Tb for each protein ball, roll and shape in your hands. If desired, roll bites in sesame seeds to coat. Wrap each ball individually or store in a freezer safe container, layered with parchment paper, to prevent the protein bites from sticking together. Store in freezer. These bites remain somewhat soft and chewy so the best place to keep them is in the freezer until you are ready to eat. Enjoy!
