Although I luckily have never had to struggle with migraines, I did suffer from frequent headaches due to chronic work stress. Eventually I got tired of taking over the counter medications and frankly these didn't always work anyway. So for this reason, among other reasons as well, I decided to clean up my diet. I now eat primarily a plant based diet (90% vegan, I like to call myself a nutritarian), and I am also conscious of drinking as much water as I can, although I am still not very good at this. Friends have called me a camel! Since modifying my diet, I can now happily say I no longer get headaches - or at least very rarely. Check out Dr. Barnards article above if you're interested.
